As part of Volunteers’ Week, ‘A Time to Say Thanks’ we held a bread-making event with our volunteers, hosted by Kindergarden Cooks. We were joined by The Mayor, Alderman Stephen Martin and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their bread-making experience.
Congratulations to our volunteer Joanne on receiving an MBE for services to vulnerable families in the Lisburn area. Joanne has volunteered for Home-Start Lisburn/Colin since 1998 and is truly well deserving of this Honour!

We were delighted to be announced winners of the Pride in Your Community Award at the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council Mayor’s Community Awards 2022 Ceremony. This is such a great recognition of the work of our amazing volunteers, well done everyone!

Everyone at Home-Start Lisburn/Colin wished Scheme Co-ordinator, Julie Corry all the best as she moved into retirement after 13 years of supporting local parents. At our AGM the Management Committee expressed a huge thank you to Julie for all her hard work, commitment and dedication to the scheme.
