We were able to continue supporting vulnerable families during this difficult year of pandemic through the generosity of the following organisations:-
South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust, Awards for All, Enkalon Foundation, Institute of Quarrying Northern Ireland Branch, Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, Big Lottery Fund, Danske Employee’s Charity Group, Groundwork UK Tesco Bags of Help, BBC Children in Need, Halifax Grants, Home-Start UK Emergency Grant Fund, Resurgam Help Kids Talk, Home-Start UK Connecting with Families and Laurelhill Community College. Also – a massive thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising events during the year, with a special mention to the Lusty family for their Lusty Family Sing Christmas 2020 fundraiser which raised over £1,000 for our scheme!

We are delighted to be able to supply all our current families with activity play resources during this time of lockdown. Thanks to funding from Awards for All National Lottery Community Fund we were able to purchase colouring, reading and play items for all of our families. #STAYCONNECTED!!

In light of COVID-19 we at Home-Start Lisburn/Colin have taken the decision to postpone all direct face to face services, including groups and home-visiting.
We will continue by providing telephone, video and email support to our families.
We are still here to help and if you have any concerns please telephone or email us.
Because this situation is changing rapidly we’ll endeavor to update you with any further relevant information.
