Thank you to the local community and partner organisations for donating hygiene, personal care items and gifts to our families through Moira Hygiene Bank. Our families are so appreciative of all the support given at this time when things are financially difficult.

We are simply amazed and overwhelmed by the generosity of all at BT. Your kindness really will make such a difference to all our families at a time they really need it most!
We were DELIGHTED to receive our Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service crystal and award certificate from His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant for The County of Antrim at a reception hosted by The Right Worshipful the Mayor of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, Councillor Scott Carson, in Lagan Valley Island on 15th November 2022. A MASSIVE THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers, this is the highest award a voluntary group can receive and is SO WELL DESERVED!
A massive THANK-YOU to everyone who took part in the Lisburn Half Marathon, 10K Road Race & Fun Run to raise funds for our service. Well done, your effort is much appreciated!
Trustees, staff and guests attended our 25th Annual General Meeting on 21st June 2022. Everyone enjoyed getting to meet each other in person and hearing about all our positive achievements during 2021-22. The meeting was followed by a tasty lunch, with lots of chat! Thank you to Marmalade Sandwich Bar for the delicious sandwiches.
A big thank you to Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Fund for providing £500 to enable us to hold a Royal themed community party for our families. Thanks also to Moo Music for the fun and interactive music session, and Rare Grazing NI for the delicious bespoke snack boxes. Great fun was had by all the princes and princesses in attendance!
