Annual General Meeting
You are invited to join us at our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 26th June 2019, 12 noon, Home-Start Family Centre, 12 Bow Lane, Lisburn. A light lunch will be provided.
Murder Mystery Night
We are very excited to announce our first ever Murder Mystery fundraiser! Come along as an investigator and work out what happened to Lady Cadbury’s missing son. A star studded cast will be bringing you a host of suspicious characters and it’s up to you to work through the evidence and find out ‘Whodunnit’. This event will be held in St Patrick’s Parish Hall, Chapel Hill, Lisburn (opposite Seymour Dugan) Saturday 22nd June 2019, 7pm. Tickets cost just £10 and include light supper and investigation pack (family tickets available).
Volunteers’ Day
It’s time to say a gigantic thank-you to each and every one of our wonderful volunteers by celebrating Volunteers’ Day with them. We will be holding an event on Thursday 6th June with a Yoga/Pilates/Relaxation session, followed by pizza from Little Wing. All our volunteers are invited, and we look forward to showing how much we appreciate them giving their time and energy to support local families.
Run for Home-Start!
Lisburn Fun Run, 10k & Half Marathon 19th June 2019
Every year we have a team from Home-Start Lisburn/Colin who partake in this very popular event to raise funds for the scheme, from parents, to volunteers, to staff, everyone is encouraged! Parents can push a pram through the Fun Run, making it accessible for all. The event will start at 6pm on Wednesday 19th June at Lisburn Leisureplex. Registration is with Lisburn & Castlereagh Council directly and then we can offer sponsorship packs for fundraising.
B&M Bag Pack Thanks
We raised a fantastic £532.07 at our B&M Bag Pack on Tuesday 28th May! A big thank you to B&M Bargains Store, Bow Street, Lisburn and all their customers, who gave so generously to support our scheme. Thanks also to staff, volunteers and friends of Home-Start who gave up their time to pack bags!
