You are invited to join us at our Annual General Meeting, Wednesday 20th June 2018, 12 noon, Home-Start Family Centre, 12 Bow Lane, Lisburn. The topic will be The Best Possible Start in Life. A light lunch will be provided.
On Thursday 17th May and Tuesday 22nd May 2018, 10am to 1pm, we will be holding our Royal Wedding Celebrations at Home-Start Family Centre, Bow Lane, Lisburn. This will be a funtastic event with face-painting, Rhyme Time, Squiggles & Giggles, Jo Jingles, craft and lots of scrummy things to eat!

The annual Good Samaritan’s Service 2018 was held on March 4th with actor and comedian Tim McGarry handing over cheques totalling £126,000 to 212 charities. The funds were raised by the 2017 Black Santa.
Along with our usual Home-Visiting and Family Group support we are running the following:-
Our Mini Mend course commenced on Friday 19th January and will run for ten weeks. This is a popular course for children and parents where they exercise together, taste different fruits and vegetables and learn about nutrition and how it affects children’s behaviour.
Welcome to our new volunteers who started this ten week Volunteer Preparation Course on 22nd January. We are excited to have you as part of our team!
Our next 14 week Incredible Years Programme commences Wednesday 7th February 2018. This is a parenting programme which focuses on Play, Praise, Effective Limit Setting, Using Ignoring Strategies and Time Out. The Incredible Years Programme strengthens children’s social, emotional and cognitive skills.
We will be holding two bag packs in February to raise vital funds:-
Tuesday 6th February – B&M Bargains Store, Bow Street, Lisburn, 10am – 4pm
Saturday 24th February – Tesco Superstore, Bentrim Road, Lisburn, 10am – 6pm
