Congratulations to our lovely volunteer Aileen, who received Runner Up Volunteer of the Year Award in the Mayor’s Community Awards 2025 for her ongoing commitment to community work in the Lisburn & Castlereagh area. Aileen has been a Home-Start Lisburn Volunteer for 14 years, and has faithfully supported many families. She richly deserves this award; we are proud of you Aileen.

A big thank you to The Hygiene Bank Moira for donating lovely gift sets for our mums on Mother’s Day. It was lovely to be able to treat our mums on this special day.
Thank You to Our 2024 Funders and Donors
We were able to continue supporting local families going through a difficult time thanks to the generosity of the following organisations:- South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust, The Henry Smith Charity, National Lottery People & Communities, Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council Community Support Grant, Pears Foundation and Co-op Local Community Fund.
Also, a massive thank you to everyone who supported/took part in our fundraising events, and to those who generously donated to the Scheme. Special thanks to Eurospar Saintfield Road and Poundstretcher Lisburn for having our collecting tins at their tills.
Sprucefield Collection Day Success
A huge thank you to Sprucefield Centre Management for allowing us to collect on Friday 6th December. We raised £704 during the day, and this will help us continue giving support to local families. A further huge thank you to all staff, trustees and volunteers who helped, along with volunteers from Orchardville.
