Congratulations to our longest serving volunteer, Joanne, who was presented with her MBE by Princess Anne at Windsor Castle on 21st February. Joanne has volunteered with us since 1998 and received the royal honour for Services to Vulnerable Families in the Lisburn Area – well done Joanne, we are proud of you!

Home-Visiting/Family Group Volunteers – If you are a parent/grandparent/carer and have about three hours to spare each week, we are currently looking for volunteers to join our team. Full training and ongoing support provided, all expenses paid. Our next volunteer preparation course commences Monday 20th March and will run on Monday mornings for four/five weeks.
Trustee Volunteers – trustees are volunteers who help guide Home-Start and contribute to their leadership and direction. Home-Start Trustees help parents build better lives for children in their community.

A massive thank you to all the customers of Tesco, Bentrim Road, Lisburn for generously donating to us at our collection day on Thursday 26th January 2023. We raised a fantastic £353.16! Thanks to Tesco Community Champion, Ann Broome for all her assistance, and to all those who supported us by standing with collecting tins, we really appreciate your help.
